We're an unofficial subreddit about everything Dexcom. One transmitter has a battery life of 90 days, so you can use the same transmitter over a number of sensor sessions. The pump now acts as the receiver and the Dexcom receiver needs to be shut down completely. More often than not, this seems to happen when the user is asleep. Red dot where the sensor was inserted, but that heals over and is going to happen anytime you keep a wire going through your skin for days at a time without allowing it to heal. After a few minutes I received the, Replace Sensor Now screen and not the calibration option. However, when I looked at my Galaxy S9+ phone, the sensor was in the 2-hour warm-up phase. I know there is a trick to this, and one of us with isolate the process. You can just keep looping (if you are a looper) and watching BG data on your phone, Nightscout, and Follow apps the whole time. I just endured half a day without a CGM and used finger sticks. Well done for the research into the fix. This is the way I did it, and it worked. When I took the receiver out of the microwave over 2 hours later, it told me I couldnt restart a sensor.
